What Is A Casino Party – Why Should I Host One?
Casino parties should NOT be confused with a having a “casino” theme, but instead it’s an activity and entertainment component that can be used at any type of event. You do not need to be a gambler or know how to play in order to plan a casino event, just as you will not need to know how to play an instrument to hire a band! Casino parties allow your guests to stay busy and enjoy what the party has to offer – good food, decor, company, music, etc. We recommend that casino activities start when the doors open along with the food stations, and music (band or DJ). In some formats, the casino will open later after an awards or business presentation, or once dinner is served. Where Do I Start?
As professionals we always start with a theme as a foundation for any event. When doing a casino party, it’s most fun when you can engage your guests with a pre-determined theme. Some of the most popular themes that can be developed are:
50’s,60’s,70’s (or any decade)
Riverboat or Cruise
Movie Themes (based on your favorite movie, like 007)
Animal – Garden – Nature
Beer Garten or Wine Fest
Build out your event’s theme by including:
Food (specially prepared to reflect the theme of your event)
Costume/Dress (having your guests arrive in that attire, and then adding primping stations, to enhance their costume at your event to reflect the era or theme of your event)

Every casino event must have music. When choosing a band YES makes sure that the band understands the format of the evening and that there is a casino in conjunction with their music. Working with a DJ can be a great option too – allowing you to have various genres of music to fit your theme. Be sure that you are working with a DJ or entertainment company that understands what you’re trying to accomplish during your event (i.e. keep guests engaged, etc.). We can help you do this!
What Games And How Many Will I Need?
When you work with YES, we will determine the number and kinds of tables that you need based on both budget and number of guests. We will work to provide you with the best package – to include the games, set up/load out, chips, tables, music, decor and an emcee or facilitator.
How Does It Work The Night Of The Event?
Once you have determined the times and location of your event. Our set up crew will arrive at least 3 hours prior to your start time. During this time all the tables will be set up according to a pre-determined room layout (diagram). We will work with both the client and venue for the best arrangement. The music (DJ, band, etc.) will set up as well. This will all be done BEFORE your party or dinner starts so that when your guests arrive they experience music playing as dealers stand lined up at the doors passing out raffle tickets and $25,000.00 in play money to every guest. This money can be cashed in at the tables for chips to play, and the raffle tickets will be for the raffle you host at the end of the night (should they lose all their money, they will still have a chance at the prizes!). Casino activities will typically last 2 to 2 1/2 hours and the last 30 minutes we raffle out the prizes.
What Are The 3 Most Popular Casino Games?
We recommend always including a craps table for your experienced players – this is a great way for beginners to learn the game, as it is only play money!
